PIN TOOL and INSTALLATION TOOL

PIN TOOL

The Pin Tool is designed to be lowered down to the curb stop valve, latched on to the cotter pin connecting the ROD to the valve then twisted in order to remove the cotter pin and broken rod and rod components.

Actual length of the PIN TOOL is 9’ with extensions available to lengthen to 12’ if required.

INSTALLATION TOOL

The Installation Tool is designed to accept and secure the new rod and coupler so that it can be lowered down to the curb stop valve, positioned over the valve and snapped into place. Once the coupler is in place on the valve, the adjustment “T” at the top of the tool is backed off. The tool is then removed so the final stages of the job and filling the hole can be completed.
